Hi, my name is karolin
I began my journey quite cut off from my own sensations and body, feeling a distance from the self I longed to know. Travel and writing became my first steps into self-exploration, offering space to notice, reflect, and connect. In 2018, while in Mexico, yoga and meditation entered my life, opening new ways to tune into my body, breath, and inner rhythms.
Since then, there has been a profound softening and opening—a gradual unfolding that continues to guide me. Yoga, meditation, mindful movement, travel, writing, and the rhythms of nature—spaces that invite reflection, curiosity, and a sense of aliveness—remain my companions, supporting presence and connection.
Through my own unfolding, I’ve discovered how gentle attention and conscious choice can support the nervous system, open the body, and nurture self-awareness. These experiences shape the way I guide others: creating a safe, supportive space for exploration, growth, and connection with your own inner wisdom. My work is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and the simple but profound invitation to come home to yourself.
My approach
My work is rooted in a somatic and trauma-sensitive approach, honoring the wisdom of the body and the nervous system. During my yoga teacher training in India, I remember crying as I witnessed—and fully experienced—the profound reverence for our own bodies’ innate intelligence. It was a powerful moment that shaped how I would approach teaching and guiding others.
challenges on the way
Later, when I faced the transformative challenge of dengue fever, I had to adapt my practice, learning to move gently, listen deeply, and strip it back to the bare basics. These experiences, combined with my later training in polyvagal-informed practices, helped me realize that what I was offering all along was trauma-sensitive yoga: a practice grounded in awareness, choice, and the nervous system’s capacity to regulate.
Today
My approach integrates somatic awareness, yoga, and gentle movement with a deep respect for each person’s unique process. No matter if its coaching or yoga, it is a space for self-exploration, nervous system regulation, and gradual opening—supporting you to reconnect with your body, your sensations, and your sense of aliveness.
